Excellent location. Although it's just a doorway opposite the Roundabout pub the room was fine.

Not a bad hidden place
Overall stay was good, but will be ask for a ￡50 pending deposit but will be explained before entering the room about the use of entrance and room keys what the deposit is used for due to previous guest getting keys muddled up with the wrong doors and having to call a locksmith. The host explained the use of the shower by using a switch to get hot water and explained about just flushing toilet paper in the bowl instead of any sanitary products that may affect the deposit. Other then that the room had a tv, tea/coffee making facilities in the room, beds were comfortable. Location had a greek restuarant next door and had a nice pubs within walking distance and city centre was about a good 10 minute walk. This was at slant of a hill but was easy to get too. Trainstation was not too far either.

A room for the night
The property wasn’t easy to find. We needed to tell the property 24 hours in advance when we would be checking in as reception is not manned all the time. The member of staff was officious and couldn’t have talked any faster. We did not feel welcome especially as we were warned about using the correct key to get in the room or they would need to call out a locksmith. We were expected to charge ￡50 for any incidentals to the credit card. It was slightly insulting that an explanation was given re how to work the electric shower. We had a room that had a private bathroom assigned to it. We had a key to let ourselves into the room containing a shower, sink and toilet. The bedroom was well equipped with a kettle, plenty of tea/coffee/milk, a toaster and a microwave. Both rooms were in need of a freshening up with a lick of paint.
It is ideally located for all activities in the city centre. We do not think the room was value for money

Clean and central location. Clock and bathroom extractor fan did not work. TV lost signal every 10 minutes.

No issues here
Booked in for a couple nights. Was a little worried due to the old reviews. Overall though it was a clean room and comfortable stay. Due to being in a city, it was a bit nosey at night but this didn’t personally bother me. There was a strange odour (like cheesey snacks) but again, didn’t bother me. Overall, I just wanted a cheap place to stay and this was better than other places I’ve been. Would stay again
